Initial consultation lets you know there is a DJ who is dedicated to the success of your event and knows exactly how important your day is.
Preplanning meetings make your confidence grow in the service I provide. During this in person meeting we will go over the evenings time line, talk about your musical likes and dislikes. Discuss the proper pronunciations of the bridal party for the grand introductions and other key elements of the night.
A professional sound system that is crystal clear and played at an appropriate volume level.
Tasteful lighting and effects will help set the mood for the evening on the dance floor. With no extra cost involed for up lights and custom gobo projector
Music for everyone the greatest party tunes and love songs displayed on the 50" plasma monitors will have all of your guests enjoying the evenings music even if they are not dancers.
DJ Dave will be your master of ceremony for up to 6 hours so your night will not be rushed or cut short.

In 1988 I founded DJ Dave Disc Jockey Service. I wanted to be the company that people could rely on and trust. One that stood for the positive things that a good DJ should be. Showing up to a gig on time and in the right attire, being courteous to the client and guests, having great sounding equipment and a comprehensive music library and above all, being thankful that someone had found value in the service I provided. This was not a common belief of some services back then!

Today the story is much the same. Emerging technology, extremely low prices on inferior sound equipment, along with people looking to make an extra buck on the weekends after working a regular day job. In this tough economy, it seems everyone knows a DJ or thinks they are a DJ. Having a large downloaded music library on an MP3 player and two speakers on sticks does not make someone a DJ and certainly would not be the person I would want in control of the most expensive party I was throwing in my life..

When seeking entertainment for your wedding reception you will be faced with some options. "Tuxedo Dancers" are cute in theory but do you really want someone embarrassing your guests with strange dance moves and making themselves the center of attention instead of you? Looking for someone to just play the music and do a few announcements? You may be right there too but, there is nothing that will ruin your day faster than a shy or rude, unprofessional DJ that is unwilling to take your requests or is oblivious as to what it takes to oversee a successful night of entertainment.

The experience that I have gained through performing countless shows in just about every type of pressure situation, along with extensive knowledge of all types of music, and knowing when to play it, makes me not just a DJ but also an entertainer, someone your guests will feel comfortable with.

Here are some figures that may help you understand how good a value a DJ Dave show really is:
$3 per person per favor.
$500 and up for Cake 2 minutes to eat it.
$750 and up for a limo up to 12 people enjoy it.
$1500 and up for photographer a few people will ever see your completed album.
$1500 and up for videographer that will capture the night through their eyes.
$1500.00 for a professional DJ may seem like a lot but, the DJ is there for every song every announcement and every dance. He is there from before the first guest arrives and is the last to leave. Seems like money well spent to me!
